Abducted Wife Of PDP Chieftain Found Dead
The wife of a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers state has been murdered.
Mrs. Ebire Ejor Ngowah Ejor, the wife of PDP chieftain and former Executive Chairman of Eleme local government council, Chief Ejor Ngowah Ejor, was murdered by unknown gunmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital.
According to reports, Mrs Ejor was abducted in Port Harcourt, on Sunday, July 5, and her body was discovered in a remote village in Eagles Island in the state on Tuesday, July 7.
Meanwhile, the state party chairman, on Tuesday, July 7, condemned the killing, describing it as “unwarranted, barbaric and shocking.”
In another news, two people were confirmed dead as a result of a bloody clash between two rival cult groups on Tuesday, July 7, in Ubima community, Ikwerre local government area of Rivers state.
